| 1220 | January | - The magi Eileen of Merinita, Gaia of Ex-Miscellanea and Yolhe of Tytalus and their grogs Patrick, Ulrick e Luigi move into Cliffheart. - Al'gor, Primus of Cliffheart, commits them their first mission as proof of their abilities: they must eliminate the presences which afflict a near ex-abbey. | ![]() |
February | - Dain, chieftain of Blackthorn, requires Al'gor's help against strange mice which affect his community. Our magi go there to solve the problem and there they know the Kia Sidhe court and its king Ciaran na, to which Eileen promises her first-born. During their journey they meet Barbalbero, a magic creature living in the wood of Beanntraí (Bantry) Bay. | ||
June | - Eileen goes to Kia Sidhe where she, to keep faith to the given oath, is got pregnant by a faery and still unknown being. - Al'gor sends the magi to the Hibernian Tribunal in Waterkeep. Aswick takes part in the Tribunal too and he accompanies the magi until Corcaigh (Cork). There, they split up because Aswick says he has something personal to do. During the journey they find out Ulrick is a werewolf, and Gaia repudiates him. In Corcaigh the company meet Lord Robert of Wuarden, of the Fitz Stephen family. - At the Tribunal Garrett of Ex-Miscellanea, Gaia's pater, gives her a new grog: Pathos. Patrick makes friends with August von Haste, a master in weaponry from Howling Hills. - The Covenant gains knowledge of the Tribunal's decision to fight against english and druids. | ||

April | - Arrived in Cionn tSáile (Kinsale) to receive a book, the magi run into the mighty dragon Thrakan Dar. They come back to the Covenant bringing Shina, a tailor, with them. - Al'gor leaves the Covenant for some week. He's seen leaving with a large bag. When he's back, he disappear into his laboratory for a lot of time. | ||
June | - Gaia finds Ulrick and kills him. | ![]() | |
December | - The magi, after the request of help made by their librarian Geoff, go to Cionn tSáile. There they face a magus who is preparing a ritual spell to summon Wyskerath, a demon. The ritual is accomplished, but the magi were able to destruct the demon. - Dexter is born, Patrick Windowl's son. - Al'gor leaves again during a terrible storm. Aswick says to be worried for his Primus and friend. | ||
| 1222 | March | - Al'gor sends our magi to Cill Airne (Killarney), to stop a wagon of druids heading to Laugh Leage. The attack is only a partial success. | |
May | - Quaesitors Tanicus of Greyforest and Tulius of Ashenrise arrive to the Covenant, together with Stormheart of Flambeau. They ask Yolhe about the events of last december, and she's condamned to pay a tower of vis and banished for three months from her laboratory. Yolhe leaves for the exile escorted by her grog. | ||
August | - Yolhe is back in Covenant with Luigi. | ||
September | - Cliffheart hears rumors about the village of Beenkeragh, near Neidín (Kenmare). The inhabitant of the village's request was satisfied by a demon: their sons, killed in a battle against english soldiers, were brought again to life, like zombies. They worked secretly in a cave, holding the english soldiers zombies like slaves. A sad story about the neverending hate between two people. | ||
November | - Al'gor makes a new journey. In this last period he seems particularlly tired and busy. When asked, he answers he's working for the Covenant's welfare. | ||
December | - Al'gor is back in the Covenant. With him there are two figures: Laetus Viator of Mercere and Damon Garth join the Covenant. The first will stay for a while before leaving for Harco, in Italy; he's the new librarian. The latter is Al'gor of Verditius' personal grog. - Yolhe writes, for the Covenant, the book De procellis et obscuritate, containing three spells. | ||

1224 | July | - On 7 july Al'gor of Verditius dies in a terrible hermetic accident. - Graudius of Flambeau arrives at Cliffheart. He reads and accepts the Covenant's Oath. - It is found out that Algor's death was caused by an accident in his lab, while enchanting a big stone. The object was involved in a trade with a high prelate. To save the Covenant's reputation from a public blame, due the violation of the Code of Hermes, the magi had to annul the pact. | |
September | - Aswick of Tytalus takes up office. | ||
October | - Laetus Viatore makes a copy of his book Iacere at meridiem Aquaenigrae and transcribes Yolhe's De procellis et obscuritate. | ||

| 1225 | Spring Equinox | ![]() | - A strange faery being, who's named Klon, arrives at Cliffheart looking for Eileen's help. His community seems to be in danger. The Magi are jointly liable with to him and leave for Maigh Chromtha (Macroom), to the faery wood. During the journey, Eileen is kidnapped by strange beings. She is found but they find out that Klon's request for help was an pretext to kill Eileen and all Kia Sidhe's friends. Eileen, without an arm and deeply wounded, is escorted by Patrick to Kia Sidhe. The troupe decide to eradicate the hostile faery community, but after getting lost within the faery Regio, decide to give up the original idea and come back to Cliffheart. |
June | - You see Eileen for the first time after her departure for Kia Sidhe, after the kidnapping and the consequential mutilation. - Summer Council and Covenant Charter approval. - By Elinor's invitation, the young magi of Cliffheart pay a visit to Ashenrise to discuss important matters. - An exploration of nearby islands, Cape Clear, Hare and Calf Islands, has started. - An Emergency Council is called and Sir Damon Garth is verbally admonished due to his behavior during the exploration. | ||
July | - Gaia leaves the Covenant with Pathos to Howling Hills. - Horestes arrives in Cliffheart. | ||
September | - Two young men join Cliffheart. Their names are Gwaynn O'Riordan called "Shortmind" for his lack of memory and Mark The cheek, with a foggy past. Both of them, though in different activities, are skilled craftmen. | ||
October | - Pathos Trebuchet is back. There are two men with him: Jerome K. Rome and Spampus. - Autumn Council: the Covenant receives several letters by Jocelyn. - The letters delivered by Jocelyn were sent by Garret of Ex-Miscellanea. They are about the possible manifestation of a evil entity. Some rumours take our Magi to Carrick, nowadays Merryville, in honour to its greatest captain, the english Theodor Merry. The soldier, fifty years ago, made epic actions but no one recognized the devil behind them. Now this demon, after having been hidden in his weapons, is here again. Ashenrise participate to the mission. Evil is defeated again but this time the risk was really high. Sir Damon Garth dies in the battle. | ||
December | - Winter Council. | ||
| 1226 | March | - They're going to contruct the new laboratory and the stable wanted by Pathos Trebuchet. The cost of these works is wholly taken by the Covenant. - The magi are invited to the marriage of Lord Robert's daughter, Mathilda, with a norman noble man, Alexander Rocheford. The girl, after the rite, is poisoned and dies. McCarty and other irish noble men are suspected but only superficial evidences are shown. The english reply is fierce and rough. Alexander Rocheford will be the new Duke of Cill Airne. During the journey to Corcaigh the magi know about the Thieves' Guild, a hidden organization founded to fight englishmen. | ![]() |
April | - Cliffheart has got a new member: Nascimentus of Bonisagus, young representative of the House. | ||
May | - The construction of the stable is over. | ||
July | - To remember Al'gor of Verditius' death, the first tournament takes place in Cliffheart. The games are opened by Aswick of Tytalus. Knights, soldiers or common men, coming from all the southern regions of Ireland, challenge each other in trials of dexterity with bow and spear, sword and war hammer. A special mention goes to Patrick Windowl for the organization and for the constructing all the prices for the winners. | ||
September | - The new Sanctum is finished. | ||
| 1227 | January | - Cliffheart is asked to join the Britannic Tribunal in a Wizard March against one of his members, recently arrived in Ireland. The task is about finding and slaying him and his fellows. The Magi are able to accomplish the mission without particular troubles. During the seeking, at mountain feet near Cionn tSáile, they meet Mavors of Tremere, who was trying to reach Cliffheart and who decides to join the party. Obscure man and prune to violence, he fits the task perfectly. | |
July | ![]() | - Eileen is invited by Aurnia, her Mater, to investigate a fairy wood, somehow linked to the animal world, near Maigh Chromtha. The maga organizes a group which she accepts to lead. But the expedition is unlucky: Spampus got lost in the wood, Graudius of Flambeau and Eileen of Merinita as well are condemned, by the Fairy Lords, to serve them for the next eight moons as punishment for their unrespectful behaviour. For her conceit, Yolhe's turned into a fox. Only Patrick Windowl, having released her inner animal, is declared friend of the wood and awarded. | |
October | - During the absence of the most magi of the Covenant, the town chief of An Góilín (Goleen), asks Cliffheart to investigate a strange site, found inside the stone mine. The place, a sort of druid sepulchre, is defended by a huge magic which doesn't allow the strangers to enter. The group, leaded by Nascimentus of Bonisagus, pays no respect to the sacred place and ruins everything, turning the magic forces to enemies. Only Yolhe and the loyal Pathos, after winning a match against the death, reach the regio containing the funerary room. They are brave but they must surrender to the enemies, who, after three hundred years, are free to join the real world, to celebrate the semhain, the druid new year's eve. An Góilín will be saved only two days later, with the extraordinary help of all the Covenant. With these facts, Cliffheart gains for free the annual supply of all the needed stone, as promised by the town chief of An Góilín, Sir William Richyard. | ||
December | - Laetus announces he's going to leave Cliffheart on next Spring. The new office is Nascimentus of Bonisagus. | ||
| 1228 | January | - Mavors and Laetus are back from their expredition. The refer the news of the falling of Cill Airne, now held by a norman, Sir Alexander Rocheford. | ![]() | |
March | - Mavors of Tremere is declared Member of the Covenant. | |||
April | - Aswick of Tytalus dies. Yolhe of Tytalus is the new Primus. - The magi of Cliffheart, leaded by Yolhe as new Primus, go to explore the Calf isles, again. But one of the local mermaids appears too much powerful: the group decide not to risk and head back to Cliffheart. | |||
May | - Kith, a village placed at west of Corcaigh, asks the Covenant for help because its people have not being sleeping for several days and this lack of rest leads to a progressive lack of memory. The magi investigate the village, quarantined at the moment for the will of Arcadius the chief village, and find out that the river is poisoned. Moving toward the source, the Magi find Jarvis, a young guy who confess his own responsibilites and tells his story: Jarvis lost his parents due to a terrible desease and moved to leave with the uncle who showed not to accept him. The guy grew up desiring to be able to heal and help people. Being not able to attend the university neither to enter the near monastery, he praied God and St. Ciprianus receiving the power to brew potions which he tested on Kith to improve his skill. The Magi of Cliffheart understand that such a talentful guy is to be protected and not to be delivered to the autorithies for the right trial. Jarvis will go with them to Cliffheart. | |||
June | ![]() | - An evil spirit in human form appears beyond the Covenant's gates, making all the people worry. The spirit say that Jarvis' potions are magical because to his powers. Not only do Patrick's arrows send back the spirit to Hell but they also interrupt Yolhe's attempt to understand what lies beneath the apparences. | ||
July | - The Primus leads the group for the third time in this summer. This time it's about a battlefield where, centuries ago, a cruel battle was fought by two ard ri and their armies. During the night of St. Antony some demons have fun recalling the battle, playing with the victims' spirits: Yolhe, without escort, is the first to join the field but she's recognized as enemy and is forced to flee; Mavors of Tremere is brilliant in controlling the spirit's will but so he makes the demons angry. Patrick and Eileen show an astonishing team spirit and kill three demons. But two more, from the sky, fall down to the group: one is killed but only after injuring Hector seriously; the other reaches Mavors, grabbing and taking him away, only God knows where. | |||
September | - In the Semhain's eve Nascimentus of Bonisagus, Patrick Windowl and Kuron do the sacrifice for the celtic gods. | |||
October | - Jarvis has got the occasion to use an entinre lab to demonstrate his real skills. | |||
December | - During an exploration, based on Laetus Viators notes, the Magi find a monolith. An ancient warrior, cursed centuries ago, is trapped inside the rock. Hes named Khras-nagar. He must meet five representatives of his old tribe, but he cant help whoever wants to set him free. He trusts the Magis mighty arts and, in exchange, he offers her services to the Covenant. | |||
| 1229 | January | ![]() | - The harvest in the Cionn tSáile's countries haven't been good enough and the first ones who suffer because of them are people of Ireland. Sir Baldus of Athlone, chief of the town, invites the Magicians to make them mediators in order to cope with this situation. On one hand there are the nobles and Cardinal Fuberto,the new spiritual guide sent by the Roman Church; on the other there are the chiefs off the city guilds. But actually this struggle is going to be fought in shadow! The Monster and The Parisian, members of the thieves guild, and Ruad the Red, chief of the rebellious peasants, organize a popular rebellion. The men of Cliffheart get in touch with the resistance and, together with the Magi avoid the revolt. - Nascimentus goes to Howling Hills. - Mavors goes to Waterkeep. |
February | - The Guild of Thieves entrusts to Cliffheart grogs to steal the Rocheford's seal, now travelling from Cill Airne to Corcaigh, carried by the knight Jane Numet. As required, Magi don't join the mission. The group intercepts the carovain, composed by three chariots and sixteen chariots, near Maigh Chromtha. The ambush seems to be successful thanks to Pathos and Patrick and to Shotmind's inventiveness. But there's a twist of faith, the action has given up and the group get lost in the wood. Pathos is the slowest, he has been reached by the soldiers and, though he tries to resist, is killed; Patrick is attacked by a magic entity from behind. Their bodies are embraced by the Night. The seal will arrive to Corcaigh. - A new Magus arrives at Cliffheart: Silvanus of Ex-Miscellanea, from the Beast Mage tradition. | ||
March | - Six mercenaries join Cliffheart, paid by Mavors of Tremere. Rumours say that the Magus took these men to protect himself, after the terrible events of the last months. They will live in a near camp. | ||
April | - The symbol of House Tytalus is traced, enlighten, on the ground near the Covenant. It was made by Brion of Tytalus Archmage of the Order, belonging to Waterkeep. After a nightly discussion with the Primus, the Archmage admits that his intention was to point out the Covenant lack of defence just to let it to improve, following the House motto. | ||
May | - A meteor burns the wood near Beanntraí, home of the Kia-Sidhe faery community and Barbalbero's house. The people of Blackthorn, the most close village, consider Noel filius of Kescog, a young apprentice of Flambeau House, responsible of what happened. The Magi of Cliffheart, leaded by Graudius, investigate the event to save their friends and the honour of the Order. The meteor is a air faery, fallen on the earth. The fire is extinguished and Noel runs away. - Cliffheart starts building the first tower and new barracks for the grogs. The tower will be twelve meters tall and will have two floors. | ![]() | |
June | - The Primus entrusts Graudius to lead a group to visit a griffons' nest, placed on Mullaghanish Hill, as referred by Laetus Viator's notes. The journey is easy and comfortable. Silvanus is at ease with Thorondor, the adult male, and he's invited to join him in the celebrative dance of the sun. The Ex-Miscellanea magus will visit the nest again. - Silvanus invites Gwaihir, one of the griffons met recently, to admire the beaty of Sherkin Island. | ||
July | - A group from Cliffheart, lead by the Primus, visits the mermain who lives in the central rock of the Calf Isles. Thanks to Eileen's magical skills, who turned an animal into a man, the exchange is made and Cliffheart gains an entire necklace of vis. - Yolhe visits Greyforest to talk to Tanicus of Quaesitor. The Primus wants to know what to do with the animal vis tainted with demoniac power. Tanicus can't help her but he hints the Tytalus to throw away the vis. The Quaesitor is pleased by Yolhe's faultless manners. | ||
November | - A peregrine reaches Cliffheart bringing rumours about a miraculous well dedicated to St. Alban standing in An Sciobairín (Skibbereen). The group visits the town hoping to find out a vis source. The Magi, after realizing they can't gain any advantage at the moment, leave the place, bored by the divine power. A new magus, met in An Sciobairín, joins Cliffheart. He's named Hics and belongs to the noble House Verditius. - Along the road to Cliffheart, the group is stopped by a hunter, from the near village of An Leim (Leap), seeking the horrible beast who killed a friend of his, Colcu. At the village, the Magi realized that the situation is more complicated than expected. The animals' will of the near forest is poisoned by the angry of a young girl, Evelin, who killed herself after being expelled from the village. Evelin is now buried in the forest. Still a question remains alive: who turned to stone the four friend of Evelin, all born in the same day of twenty years ago. | ||
December | - Silvanus of Ex-Miscellanea becomes Member of the Covenant. - Cliffheart's boat, needed to reach the main land, is destroyed during a stormy night. - Jocelin of Mercere brings news about Mistwood abandon. The Hibernian Tribunal has a Covenant less. - Cliffheart Magi go to Mistwood. They found the Covenant abandoned, but they're easy during the exploration and are captured by the vampires who live in the basement. Contrary to the official news, these monsters were not killed but they're alive and serving someone. In the desperate attempt to subject their minds, Mavors casts a powerful Mentem spell, but he, tragically, loses the control and delivers his own mind to Lucita, vampires' madame, whose he accepts her pact. Only Magi are saved, though they have to give up their possessions. Grogs are abandoned to their doom. Vampires cancel survivors' minds but Nascimentus' and Eileen's ones. Who lied on vampires' death? Why? And why was Mavor's custos spared? - Two other men join the Covenant: Ronan McDonald, who will be Hics of Verditius' custos, and Einar Orn, a man coming from the northern lands. | ||
