![]() | The library, together with the always busy laboratory, is the pulsing heart of the Covenant. You can find arcane texts and powerful grimoires, but also mundane books of great and incalculable value. You can be sure that Magi will do everything to put their hands over a new book. The exchanges of books among mundane characters and members of the Order are not prohibited, but instead they represent one of the most important business for any Covenant. What you will see below is all the material of public use a Magus of Cliffheart can have access to. It's probable that arcane texts of higher value are hidden in the privacy of Sancta. |

| The mundane books | |
This category contains knwoledge from the mundane world. They are tractates of science, philosophy or history, summae of literature, religion and even bestiaries too. Even if they are not arcane texts, these books have a great value for the Magi, because they help them to relate to the surrounding world and to acquire that knwoledge and wisdom they cannot find as long as they stay in their laboratories.

| The Arcane texts | |
Together with the row vis, the arcane books represent the most valuable object for a magus. They would do anything to put their hands on such an inestimable treasure. The arcane books increase their value in proportion to the knwoledge contained. These ones held in the Cliffheart's public libray are good texts for beginning, though it's rumored that other and more powerful books are hidden in the older magi's private libraries.
