The Hermetic Laboratory

This is a list of personal scripts, of diary's pages about past adventures, here are writings on problems and dilemmas left unsolved. And there are the projects on the development of formulaic enchantments and ritual.

So this section is always under construction, because of the very nature of the Hermetic studies, continuatively mutating and changing, and sometimes upside-down turning... 

Some of the writings features some particularity because of the language in which they are written, italian, so a translation would be unaffordable. Some of the enigmas are reported here.

 

The Spanish-Campaign Enigma of Four

This one is an engraving the magi found on a secret door which would conduct them to an important book, when they were on their Spanish Campaign. In order to pass the door, one had to draw with his finger the missing simbol, one between the two images up, and one between the two images down, which must be found starting from the two on the side. The mages knew that two of these drawings were ancient symbols of the elements, and that the other two were senseless.

The correct answer is a compensation between the opposites: you can find that there's a plus sign and a minus sign on the two images, so the solution is to trace the celtic symbols of fire (which is a triangle sided-up) and of water (a triangle sided-down). Tracing the incorrect answer kills instantaneously the subject, surrounding him in flames or drowning him, depending on the symbol mis-traced.
